Obituary of Adeline D'Amelio

Adeline D'Amelio, of Thiells, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2017. She was 79. Adeline was born to Joseph and Gladys (Lopez) Cisco in the Bronx, NY. She married her beloved husband William on January 5, 1957 at St. Claire's Church in the Bronx. Adeline loved to play cards and to travel. She had a Macy's Lifetime Card and worked as a Sales Associate at Macy's in Paramus for 20 years. Adeline is survived by her loving husband William of Thiells; by her beloved children: William of Monroe, Robert (Annette) of Garnerville, and Albert (Jeannine) of Nanuet; by her cherished grandchildren: Anthony, Nicholas, Olivia, Randell, Nicholas, Cristofor, Natalie, Madeline and Victoria; and by her loving brother Joseph Cisco. She is predeceased by her brother Frank. Adeline's family will receive friends on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 4-8 PM at T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 71 N. Central Highway, GARNERVILLE, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Adeline on Saturday, August 12 at 11:30AM at St. Anthony's Shrine Church in Nanuet, following by interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may donate in Adeline's memory to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN, or to the American Cancer Society.
