Obituary of Roseanne Hammel

After a long battle with cancer, Roseanne Hammel, 65, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2014, with her friends and family by her side at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence. Born on May 16, 1949 to the late Anthony "Sonny" and Mildred "Millie" Lafalgio, she was employed by A&P which later had become ShopRite of Garnerville as a meat wrapper for the last 17 years. Rosie is survived by her three loving children: Denise Hammel-Ferrucci, Edward Hammel, and John V. Lafalgio; by her loving daughter-in-law Nelcy Garcia and son-in-law Michael Ferrucci; her grandson Johnny Ferrucci; her two brothers Vinny and John Lafalgio; her nieces Marisa Lafalgio and Christina Lafalgio, her nephew Anthony Lafalgio, as well as many cousins and friends. Roseanne's family will receive friends at T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, September 6 at 11:30am at Immaculate Conception Church, Stony Point. A private cremation will follow.
