Obituary of Ramonita Rodriguez

Ramonita "Monin" Rodriguez, of Haverstraw, entered peacefully into eternal rest on September 22, 2014. She was 70. Monin was born on December 4, 1943 in Puerto Rico to Andrea Maldonado Morales and Ceferino Rodriguez DeJesus. Monin was an LPN for over 30 years in Rockland County. She will be remembered for her devotion to her many family and friends, her dedication to her work, and for her love of shopping for anything and everything that was beautiful. Monin is survived by her beloved daughter Sheylah "Queen" DeLeon and her husband Ray Dave Aguko, her niece Milagros Guzman, and all of her family in New York and Puerto Rico. Monin is predeceased by her brother Jorge Guzman in 1992, her beloved English bulldog Tonka, and by her parents. Monin's family will receive friends at T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 133 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 5-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 26 at 1pm at St. Peter's Church, Haverstraw, with interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
