Obituary of Robert John DelGenovese

Robert John DelGenovese of Delray Beach, formerly of West Haverstraw, passed away on September 30, 2014 in Florida. He was 71. Born to Louis and Mary (Guidotti) DelGenovese on June 19, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. Robert was in the U.S. Army National Guard reserves. He worked as a NYC bus driver for the MTA for many years. Robert is survived by his loving daughter, Liana Giordano of Valley Stream, NY, grandchildren Lucas and Ella and his brother, Charles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela, sister Dolores and his parents. Robert's family will receive friends at T.J. MCGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 71 N. Central Hwy, Garnerville, on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Robert on Monday, October 6 at 10am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville, with interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw.
