Obituary of Cindy DePalma

Cynthia "Cindy" DePalma, 55, of Valley Cottage passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 26, 2014. Cindy was born on October 27, 1958 in the Bronx to Fiorvanti & Margaret (Letterio) Salemi. She married the love of her life Joseph DePalma on Jan 5, 1985. Cindy worked for the Nyack Public School district for many years. She loved reading books, knitting and going to the beach. She is survived by her caring parents Fiorvanti & Margaret Salemi of Boca Raton, Fla. Her loving Husband Joseph S. DePalma of Valley Collage, her cherished and adored children Joseph Jr. and his wife Samantha of Stony Point, Christine and her husband James Morrison of Fort Carson, Colorado, her beloved sisters Diane and husband Ronnie Bogin of Valley Cottage, Donna Narciso of Valley Cottage and Margie and husband James Riley of Congers. Also surviving is her numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends & family at the T J McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71. N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY on Wednesday October 29th from 2- 4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Cindy on Thursday October 30th at 11:15 AM at St Paul's Church in Congers with interment to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Rockland Lake.
