Obituary of Kathleen Bender Macaulay

Kathleen Bender Macaulay, 46, of Pomona, passed away on April 13, 2015. She was born on October 21, 1968 in Suffern, NY to Henry & Catherine (Malone) Bender. She married the love of her life on Feb. 29, 2008 after a 17 year romance. She worked for Executive Furniture in little Ferry, NJ for 15 years. Kathy enjoyed the outdoors and cooking for her husband & his friends. Kathy is predeceased by her father Henry Bender and her brother Michael. She is survived by her loving husband John Macaulay of Pomona, her beloved mother Catherine C. Bender of Suffern, her adored brothers Scott and his wife Debbie Bender, her caring sister-in-law Lynn Bender. Also surviving are numerous special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday April 16th from 4 -8 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville. Services will be held on Friday April 17th at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathleen's memory to the Hi Tor Animal Shelter, 65 Fireman's Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY 10970.
