Obituary of Francey Dawn Olavarria
Francey Dawn Olavarria, 52, of Garnerville, passed away on May 4, 2018. She was born on July 15, 1965 in Brooklyn, NY to Samuel & Joan (Wollin) Cohen. Francey married the love of her life Felix Olavarria on Aug 12, 1984. She was an active Jehovah’s Witnesses and she worked as dental hygienist at the Montrose VA Hospital in Montrose for over 30 years. Francey enjoyed baking and had a small business called Francy’s Sweet Treats. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband Felix of Garnerville, her beloved children Sara (Nick) Pellerin of Newburgh, NY, Debra & Ariel Olavarria both of Garnerville, her adored & loved grandchildren Alexa, Aurora and Annalise, her caring brothers Richard (Jeryl) Cohen and David (Eti) Cohen .
The family will receive friends & relatives on Monday May 7th From 4 – 8 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY . Religious service will be held at the funeral home. The family will gather on Tues May 8th at the funeral home at 9 AM with Interment to follow at 10 AM in Mt Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw.
