Obituary of Theresa Ann Matarazzo

Theresa Ann Matarazzo, ,88, of Walnut Hills apts, in West Haverstraw, NY. Entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2013. She was born on June 6, 1924 in the Bronx to Gaetano & Raffaela Alterri Anemone. Theresa worked for TWA Airlines for over 20 years. She then worked for the North Rockland School District in the Forester Grandparents Program of Rockland County for 10 years .Theresa loved to travel and do Knitting, but her biggest love was spending time with her grandchildren & great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her Husband Joseph (1982) , and her 2 brothers Danny & Neil Anemone. Theresa is survived by her loving Daughter Jean (Denis) Cahill of Thiells, her adored grandchildren Theresa (Jason) King, Denis (Ingrid) Cahill, Elizabeth (Eddie) Buller and her Cherished Great Grandsons Sean, Dillon, William & Denis. Also surviving are her loving sisters Mary Courtney, Jean Giordano, Sue Domanice and Margie Tuomey and numerous nieces , nephews and cousins. Theresa family would like to thank the staff of the Buckingham Manor for all the kind care that was given to her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Theresa on Tuesday April 9th at 10 Am at St. Paul's Church in Congers ,NY with Interment to Follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. The Family will receive friends & relatives on Monday April 8th from 2-4 & 7-9 Pm at the TJ McGowans & Sons Funeral Home, 71 North Central Highway Garnerville, NY.
