Obituary of Catherine Campbell

Catherine "Giggles" Campbell Catherine Campbell passed away quietly and peacefully, this past Sunday June 23, 2013, at Summit Park Hospital in Pomona N.Y. She was 86. She had in recent years been a resident of Walnut Hill in Haverstraw, but hailed originally from the Bedford Park section of the Bronx. She was a member of the Haverstraw and North Rockland Senior Citizens groups Although; she was not a noted academic, or a famed business person her life accomplishments were varied and many. A loving wife, fantastic mother, devoted aunt and caring neighbor. She was a devote catholic and an unabashed flag waving American. If she had an opinion on a subject she would express it. She was a life member of the generation that has made this country great. She will be solely missed by those who shared the pleasure of her wisdom and company. She is predeceased by her husband Robert. Along with her sister Mary and brother John Hartnett of the Bronx. She is survived by her son Chris and wife Stephanie Campbell of Stony Point. Nieces and nephews Kathleen, Michael, Timmy, John, Danny, Dennis, Jimmy, Nora and sister in-law Ann Hartnett. The family will receive friends at T.J McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71N. Central Highway, Garnerville N.Y. Friday June 28, between 2:00-4:00P.M and 7:00-9:00P.M A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday June 29, at 11:00. at St. Gregory Barbarigio Church, Garnerville N.Y. A Private cremation to follow
