Obituary of Lucy Castellano Minenna

Lucy (Castellano) Minenna, 86, of West Haverstraw, NY passed away peacefully on October 8, 2013. She was born on August 11, 1927 in New Orleans to Jack & Francis Pacino Alongi. Lucy enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband Andrew (1998) and her 2nd husband Andrew Minenna (2009), and her 7 brothers & sisters. She is survived by her loving children John and his wife Linda Castellano of Stony Point, NY and Thomas of Pomona, NY, her cherished grandchildren John, Lisa, Patricia. Also surviving is her sister-in-law Lillian Dunn and her husband Bill of Mass, and several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends & family on Friday Oct. 11th from 5 - 8 PM at the TJ McGowan & Sons Funeral Home, 71 N Central Ave, Garnerville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will will be celebrated for Lucy on Sat. Oct 12th at 11 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville. A private cremation will follow. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lucy's name to United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956.
