Obituary of Mary P McArdle

Mary P. McArdle, 78, of Stony Point passed away suddenly on Jan.18, 2014. She was born on Dec. 1, 1935 in New York City to John & Susan (Barry) O'Keefe. She married the love of her life Frances McArdle on Feb.24, 1968. Mary loved to do ceramics. She worked at Children of Mary at the Marian Shrine as a secretary for 25 years prior to that she worked for Pitney Bowes as a bookkeeper for 10 years. Mary is predeceased by her son Brian (2003) and she is survived by her loving husband Frances of Stony Point, her caring sisters Eileen, Anne O'Keefe and her brother Jack O'Keefe. Also surviving are her numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces & nephews. The family will receive friends & relatives on Tues 1/21/14 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the TJ McGowan & Sons Funereal Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mary on Weds 1/22/14 at 10 AM at the church of St, Gregory Barbarigo with Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
