Obituary of Catherine Curley

Catherine Curley, 97, of Valley Cottage, NY passed away peacefully on Monday evening January 20, 2014 at Nyack Hospital. Born January 9, 1917 in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Mary Carmody McLaughlin. Mrs. Curley was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter Lillian Curley; sons Frank (Ellen) and Tom (Karen) Curley; grandchildren Tommy, Tricia, Lori, Jon, Michael and Nicole; great grandchildren Kaila, Kyle, Victoria, Krystina, Connor, Gavin and Liam. Mrs. Curley is predeceased by her beloved husband Francis Curley along with several brother and sisters. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 4-9 P.M. at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville. A Celebration of Life service will be celebrated on Friday, January 24, 2014 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Warren Brandt officiating.
