Obituary of Christian Ascolese

Christian A. Ascolese of Stony Point passed away on April 9, 2014. He was born on June 1, 1992. He was the beloved son of Theresa and John Ascolese and loving brother to Natalie. He was the most loving grandson and the light of their life's to Natale and Evelyn Rizzuto and Joseph & Denise Ascolese. We will love him forever and ever. His uncles Nicholas Rizzuto. Nat and (Kathy) Rizzuto. Anthony (Maureen) Ascolese, Joseph and (Catherine) Ascolese. His Aunt Geri Thompson and uncle George. His great aunt Joan Ascolese. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friend. He will be truly missed by many people that knew and loved him. Christian's passion for baseball began at the young age of 5 years old and he played the game he loved through his late teenage years. He was a fan of both the NY Yankees and the NY Giants for his entire life. He also loved eating his grandma's chicken cutlets which she made especially for him. He is predeceased by his paternal great-grandmother Antoinette Rizzuto and his maternal great grandparents Alfred and Rita Huber Jr. and paternal great parents Frances & John Ascolese. Family & friends are invited to the viewing at the TJ McGowan & Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville on Sunday April 13th from 3 -8 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Christian on Monday April 14th at 10 AM at the church of the Immaculate Conception in Stony Point. Entombment will follow in Ascension Cemetery in Airmont.
