Agnes M. Huebner passed away peacefully on February 3, 2018 with her family by her side. She was 89 years old.
She was born in Manhattan on December 17, 1928 to Agnes (Murphy) and Peter Anderson. Agnes attended Haverstraw High School. She married Conrad Leo Huebner on October 21, 1950, and was blessed with seven daughters. She was a wonderful, caring wife, mother and grandmother who taught her family the importance of faith, love of family and friends, with a strong character and loving charm. She was employed as a secretary in the North Rockland Central School District for many years.
Agnes is predeceased by her parents, loving husband Connie, daughter Deirdre Michella, brother James, twin brother Peter Anderson, and sister Bernadette Lawless. She is survived by her six daughters and their spouses: Kathleen, Bernadette (Vincent) Abbatecola, Agnes (James) Daly, Sheila (Peter) Rugg, Eileen (Christopher) Dodrill, Mary (Kenneth) Burlew, and son-in-law Kevin (Carol) Michella; her 14 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to give special thanks to her loving caregiver and special friend, Sandra Campbell, and the staff of Tappan Zee Manor for their loving kindness and compassion during her stay.
Agnes was a friend to everyone she met and was loved by all. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She leaves behind a family with heavy hearts who are forever grateful for her wisdom, guidance, everlasting love and devotion to her family.
Visiting will be at T.J. MCGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 133 Broadway, HAVERSTRAW, NY on Tuesday, February 6 and Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 8 at 11:30AM at St. Peter's Church in Haverstraw. Burial will be private.
