Obituary of Thomas L Gormley

Thomas L Gormley of West Haverstraw passed away on December 13th, 2018. He was 77, Tom was born to Matthew and Gertrude (Lynch). He served his country proudly in the Army. Tom was an active member of the Haverstraw Elks for over 30 years, he was also a member of General Warren Company #2 for over 50 years.

Tom owned and operated Twins Auto Body in Haverstraw with his twin brother James who predeceased him in 1972. He operated a bus for Meals on Wheels for 10 years where he made many friendships.

Tom is survived by his son Thomas (Jackie) of South Carolina and his daughter Jennifer of Haverstraw. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nicholas, Tristan, Emma, Joseph and Brianna.

Tom's family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, December 15th at 10:30 to 12 noon, followed by a Christian burial at St. Peter's Cemetery.
