Obituary of Karen D Hansen
Karen D. Hansen, 67, of Tomkins Cove passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 19, 2018. She was born on April 17, 1951 in Suffern, NY to Alex and Gladys (Palmer) Manglass. Karen worked for the Jade Abstract company for over 30 years. Karens biggest accomplishment were her children & grandchildren whom she enjoyed spending all her spare time with. She is predeceased by her parents, her daughter Erica Hansen, and her sister Alexa Funcheon. Karen is survived by her loving children Chad (Stephanie) Hansen of Tomkins Cove, Tammy Hansen of Tomkins Cove, Evan (Ericka Johnson)Hansen of Tomkins Cove, Lexi (James) Hansen of Garnerville her adored & cherished grandchildren Sean, Brayden, Zack, Dena, and Rylee, her caring brother & sister Alex (Michele) Manglass & Cheryl Curry. Along with numerous nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends & relatives on Sunday July 22nd at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY from 2-4 & 7 – 9 pm . A mass of Christian ceremony will be celebrated for Karen on Mon July 23rd In Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point at 11 AM with a private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Karen’s memory to the United Hospice of Rockland 11 Stokum Lane New City, NY 10956
